We've been here for 7 nights. Sparkling clean restroom and shower areas.
Super close to the Fichtelsee. A lot of hiking possibility. They offer morning bakery service at the entrance. We saw also two foot trucks, one for pizza, one the for rest :-).
The place isn't a cheep campground, but you get quit good for it. We paid for 7 nights WiFi 10€ and the quality is bad.
And we paid 19€ for electricity, I don't know if this is normal.
We were able to book a spot last minute with a car and a dog. The location is great, well placed for nice walks in the woods or seeing the nearby lake. The campsite itself is nice and the facilities were very clean.
Everyone working here that we encountered spoke English, especially the owner's daughter whose English was truly excellent. She was very helpful, professional and friendly and certainly made our stay everything we hoped for.
Great for a few days or just stopping off overnight. Only minor downside is that when busy it can feel a bit cramped but this is true of most campsites in Germany from what we have seen.
Other campers were generally very friendly too.
Clean, affordable, nice people - recommend.
We are 2 bikes with a small tent. Fine camping, but hardly any facilities for cyclists. We had to wait very long at the reception, and got a place on the tent area. They put pebbles on large parts of the tent field, which made it hard to find a clean spot of grass to put up a tent.
Okay caravan site with nice and clean facilities.
The playground could use an upgrade.
The lake Fichtelsee is nice but otherwise there seem to be very little to see near by.
Decent price. Nice and helpful couple in the reception.
Could not pay with Mastercard or Visa.
Very clean, nice, very nice and polite people. Helpful receptionist borrowed us a long cable that we lost in the last camping that we visited. Also please note, very nice and interesting restaurant a few hundred meters down the road, by the lake.
Super
